If you've just migrated in to JetHost PRO, we want to welcome you.
However if you're here on this page, you're possibly having some issues with your email. We can fix that quickly for you here. If you are not skilled at changing your email settings, please have a family member, friend or associate who is able to do this on hand, as that might help.
There won't be any website downtime, and you won't lose any mail, however, depending on the email software settings you are using, you might get one of two following warning messages in your email software.
1. Certificate mismatch/identity warning:
If you see a message to this effect, and it generally gives you the option to accept the new certificate (*.stackmail.com) please just accept it. It's our new certificate and is valid for your mailserver. That said, some email software keeps giving you the warning message incessantly, which can be a real pain. If that happens, please follow #2 below.
2. Can't find/connect to server warning:
If you see this, go into your mail settings for that email address:
and change incoming mail server name to:
- imap.stackmail.com (if it's an IMAP account) or
- pop3.stackmail.com (if it's a POP3 account)
and change the outgoing mail server name to:
- smtp.stackmail.com
3. If you still can't connect after changing the mailserver names:
Go into your new control panel at https://cp.myjethostpro.com (using your domain name as the username, along with the password that was sent to you in the migration email) and change or reset the email address password and then you should be fine.
